Earlier this year, legendary grunge band L7 announced they would reunite after going on hiatus in 2001, and that reunion actually happened on Thursday when the group's original lineup performed at The Echo in L.A. There's even some video, so check out the group performing their biggest track, "Pretend We're Dead," below. According to L.A. Weekly, the "fierce foursome came off like a cross between brain-bleeding Motörhead, the hardest parts of Mötley Crüe, and quasi-Sex Pistols trash."

If you missed their first gig back, check out the rest of their planned North American tour dates this year:

7/16 – Los Angeles, Calif. – The Fonda
7/17 – Los Angeles, Calif. – The Fonda
9/6 – Toronto, Ont. – The Danforth Music Hall
9/8 – New York City, New York – Irving Plaza – SOLD OUT
9/9 – Brooklyn, New York – Warsaw

9/11 – Philadelphia, Pa. – Trocadero Theater

L7 also took to Kickstarter to fund a documentary directed by filmmaker Sarah Price, and the campaign has already exceeded its goal, so all systems should be go. Take a look at the trailer for the film below.
