Lana Del Rey's breakthrough hit 'Video Games' has spawned countless covers by amateur artists on YouTube and a handful of versions from like-minded musicians like Amanda Palmer and Kasabian, but surprisingly few cover attempts from high-profile crossover artists. That recently changed thanks to Boy George's just-released 'Video Games' video, which takes the tune into a whole new sonic territory.

It's hard to get away from the word "twangy" when describing George's cover -- check it out and you'll immediately understand why. But twangy doesn't mean bad, and this clip is worth checking out, if for no other reason than seeing what LDR sounds like in the hands of somebody like Boy George.
