Watch Laura Marling's New Video for 'False Hope'

As Laura Marling approaches the release of her upcoming fifth studio album, Short Movie, the singer-songwriter has shared a brand new music video for "False Hope." You can check it out above.

From an aesthetic perspective, there's not much to the video, except for Marling and her band performing the song in the studio. But it highlights Marling jamming hard on her electric guitar, which is a somewhat new approach for her considering she's always leaned toward the acoustic side of things.

Marling previously revealed a handful of Short Movie tracks in her on-screen acting debut in the short film titled Woman Driver, which you can watch below. (The film features two songs that will not appear on the new album.)

Short Movie is due out on March 24 via Ribbon in the U.S. and on March 23 via Virgin EMI in the U.K.
