LG Electronics 2013 Commercial – What’s the Song?

In the new LG Electronics commercial, a woman embarks on a dreamlike journey through the clouds and uncovers a number of flawless home appliances along the way, including the perfect dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and washing machine. The charming tune featured in the 30-second clip is ‘Littlest Things’ by Lily Allen, who is now professionally known as Lily Rose Cooper.

The track is from her 2006 album ‘Alright, Still,’ which was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. Written by Allen herself, along with Mark Ronson and Santigold, the song’s lyrics focus on the ‘Smile’ singer looking back on a failed relationship through a bittersweet lens.

“‘Littlest Things’ is a perfect description of missing someone,” wrote the Guardian in a 2006 review. Pitchfork called it “a supple piano-tickler that provides one of Allen's sweetest lyrical moments while simultaneously leaving Ms. Dynamite in the dust on the R&B balladeering front.”

The British songstress has collaborated with the likes of T-Pain and Wiz Khalifa and was also featured on Pink’s latest studio release, ‘The Truth About Love.’ She gave birth to a little girl back in January.
