It's been nearly a decade since Oasis last released a new studio album, and things seem as frosty as ever between co-founding brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. But for Liam, at least, the prospect of a reunion remains tempting — and maybe even inevitable.

"I believe Oasis will sail again and it'll be glorious," Gallagher told Q (via NME). "If it's really about the fans, Noel, let's do it - because they want it. One year. Tour for a year. We'd smash it. My bags are still packed from my last tour, so I'm ready."

Of course, it's never as simple as all that where the Gallagher brothers are concerned — and in recent days, Liam's made headlines by comparing Noel to a potato — but he insists he's just exercising his sibling prerogative. "Lots of people say I need to chill out about Noel. Not until they stop Twitter. That c--- will always get it from me," he shrugged. "I’ve heard they really annoy him. Someone told me the other week that the only thing that does his nut in are my tweets. Good. They will carry on and they will get bigger and better."

Ultimately, Liam isn't shy about saying he loves his brother, and openly admits to missing the version of Noel he watched in the upcoming Supersonic documentary dedicated to the band. And no matter how much they might bicker, he knows Noel misses him too. "I do love him. I don’t sit at home crying into a picture of him, though, and I’m sure he doesn’t of me either," mused Gallagher. "But I’m an energy and I bet he misses that energy."
