Liars, ‘Brats’ – New Video
The latest video from Los Angeles noise-punk trio Liars complements the song it represents well. Directed by artist Ian Cheng, the ‘Looney Toons’-on-speed-themed clip uses Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny-like characters in the form of CGI-designed polygons, as they run, dance and twitch their way across the screen in time to the beat of the techno-infused track ‘Brats,’ the latest single off their ‘WIXIW’ album. It’s probably not graphic enough of a video to earn a NSFW warning, but it’s certainly disturbing enough in some hard-to-pinpoint way that it earns this warning: it is creepy, and you’ve been warned.
