Lion In the Mane, ‘Bright Sunny Beautiful’ (Acoustic) – Exclusive Premiere

As 2014 nears its end and the new year gets closer and closer, we're excited to find new bands on our musical radars -- and today (Dec. 16), Diffuser is thrilled to share one of those new bands, Brooklyn-based Lion In the Mane. They're gearing up to release their debut full-length record, 'The Noise War,' on Feb. 24, and we've got a unique taste of what to expect! Check out the unplugged version of their current single, 'Bright Sunny Beautiful,' in the video above.

"We really stripped the song down to its basics when we performed 'Bright Sunny Beautiful' acoustically," frontman Jon Masters tells us. "It was a cool approach for it to be slowed down and really raw. It really is one of my favorite songs on the record."

We couldn't agree more about Lion In the Mane's "cool approach" to reimagining the song; it finds the band vulnerable and real, but they live up to expectations as they deliver a powerful performance of 'Bright Sunny Beautiful.' To compare, check out the studio version of the track below:
