The highly anticipated brand new album from Death From Above 1979, 'The Physical World', is now streaming in its entirety via iTunes a week ahead of its release. The LP is ripe with as much energetic dance-punk as you could hope to expect from the California duo.

Comprised of Sebastien Grainger and Jesse F. Keeler, Death From Above 1979 are returning from an extensive hiatus, spanning nearly 10 years since their last -- and and debut -- release, 'You're A Woman, I'm A Machine.' Fortunately, they're back with a vengeance, picking up right where they left off.

The band is also set to make an appearance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' on Sept. 10 to play their infectious single, 'Trainwreck 1979.'  Tickets for their upcoming tour -- which kicks off with an intimate show at Brooklyn's Rough Trade record store the day before their 'Letterman' appearance -- will come with a free album download. See their full list of tour dates here.
