Sinead O'Connor has hardly been the type of person to hold back on saying how she feels. From politics to today's pop music, she always speaks her mind. However, in her latest single, she actually thinks twice about sharing her opinion.

Entitled '8 Good Reasons,' the mid-tempo ballad explores Sinead's apprehension to be as open as she once was. You can stream it below.

"Don't know if I should quite sing this song / Don't know if it may be wrong / But then again, maybe might be right / To tell about the bullet and the red light / You know I'm not from this place / I'm from a different time, different space / And it's real uncomfortable / To be stuck somewhere you just don't belong," she sings in the first verse.

Produced by longtime collaborator John Reynolds, not only do fans get a sense of how O'Connor has grown in the music industry but also how her songwriting has evolved to what it is today.

Topping the charts in Ireland, '8 Good Reasons' is from O'Connor's new album, 'I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss,' which is out now.
