Listen to Death Grips’ New Song, ‘The Powers That B’

After surprising everyone in January with the instrumental album, Fashion Week, experimental hip-hop outfit Death Grips have released the title track from their upcoming double LP, The Powers That B. Listen to it above.

Filled with sonic layers, "The Powers That B" is aggressive but a song you can quickly get into. Frontman Stefan Burnett doesn't hold back on the microphone and attacks every word with vigor. Check out these lyrics:

I can't know what I'm bout to do / When I can't know what I'm bout to do / I'm what the f--- happened / And I can't know what I'm bout to do / Until its too late for you / To steal my name bow down on cue / I've got the powers that B / running through me."

The double album is split into two parts: N----s on the Moon and Jenny Death. "The Powers of B" is on the Jenny Death disc. The album will be available March 31 via Third Worlds/Harvest Records, but you can pre-order it now on iTunes.
