Twisted Sister broke up this summer and now, its frontman has resumed his solo career. Dee Snider has released an album called We Are the Ones, and one of its tracks is a cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole.” You can listen to it above.

“I always thought it was a great song, a powerful song,” he said back in August. “I can’t wait to do that one live. Like ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ is iconic, ‘Head Like a Hole’ is iconic for that era.”

Speaking to Rolling Stone about the album, Snider also revealed himself to be a big fan of Foo Fighters. "I own all of [their] records," he said. "I love them; I just never thought I could ever do something like that."

As much fondness he has for the music of Trent Reznor and Dave Grohl, he’s soured on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, whom he considered a friend from Snider’s appearance on Celebrity Apprentice. Although Snider originally gave Trump permission to use “We’re Not Gonna Take It” at his rallies, he asked him to stop after Trump’s policy proposals were embraced by the alt-right. “I don't care what he truly believes or doesn't believe,” he said. “If he's allowing the alt-right to have a voice, that's unacceptable. Put up a wall? Mass deportation? No, that's unacceptable. I'm terrified by the people coming out of the shadows of the extreme right, these racist people who harbor ill-will. As long as [Trump] doesn't win, I think he's done us a favor. Because we were lulled into a false sense of security with a black president, thinking, 'Oh, now racism is gone.' And look what's happening today."
