Listen To Delta Spirit Cover Cream’s ‘I Feel Free’

Indie rock group Delta Spirit are preparing to release a re-issue of their 2014 album, Into The Wide, their fourth record and first on Dualtone Records. One of the new songs from the re-release is a cover of Cream's 1966 classic "I Feel Free," and Delta Spirit shared their rendition of the song today (June 22).

Their version (below) increases the tempo and energy of the hazy, psychedelic original. Although the original track is ageless, Delta Spirit's version updates the aesthetic slightly while still sounding classic.

The band are currently in the middle of their “An Evening With Delta Spirit and Friends” tour, which features guest appearances from members of Deer Tick, Dr. Dog, the Walkmen, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and others.
