Listen to the Districts Cover the Kinks’ ‘Father Christmas’

Pennsylvania's the Districts paid homage to Christmas and the Kinks (not necessarily in that order) by posting a cover of the Kinks' 1977 holiday classic, 'Father Christmas.'

The song is slowed down and its melancholy heart is on full display, so it won't be one for your party. But if you find yourself with feeling gloomy this holiday season, it might just be your temporary soundtrack.

The Districts are set to release their next full-length, 'The Flourish and a Spoil,' on Feb. 10 via Fat Possum.
