Lost Tape Releases Cassettes From Young Statues, Hostage Calm + the Explosion

Man Overboard's own record label, Lost Tape Collective, has been reissuing albums on colorful cassette tapes as part of the apparent cassette resurgence (we won't call it a revival). They've just announced the release of three new cassettes, the Explosion's 'Flash Flash Flash,' Hostage Calm's 'Die on Stage' and Young Statues' 'The Flatlands Are Your Friend' -- all in a limited edition variety of colors.

Hostage Calm's 'Die on Stage' has already sold out of the green and purple swirl design, possibly as a result of the band's recent announcement of their official breakup. You can pick up all three cassettes via LTC's website here for a mere five or six bucks.

Man Overboard will head out on a spring tour with Bayside, Senses Fail and Seaway, followed by a European headline tour. A new album is due later this year, and their latest EP, 'Passing Ends,' is currently available via their label.
