"Love Saves the East Village" -- an all-day benefit concert to help those affected by a recent building collapse in the Manhattan neighborhood -- will take place this coming Saturday, April 18, at La Palapa Cocina Mexicana (77 St. Mark's Place in New York City).

"When the East Village suffers loss we come together," the event's Facebook description reads. "Our community has suffered a devastating loss. We are hosting a fundraiser -- let's help in any way we can."

On March 26, a gas explosion ripped through four buildings in the East Village, leveling three of them and leaving 19 people injured -- five of those injured were FDNY members. The seven alarm fire enveloped 7th Street and Second Avenue, with the businesses in the area taking major hits.

Among "Love Saves the East Village"'s featured acts are Tigers and Monkeys, singer-songwriter Laura Cantrell and one time Richard Hell and the Voidoids guitarist, Ivan Julian.

The all day event kicks off at 11AM ET and will run until 7PM. The full schedule is below:
