Exploding with relentless percussion and the impressive vocal teamwork of frontwomen Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, it’s safe to say that Lucius’ performance of their song ‘Nothing Ordinary’ lives up to its name.

The exclusive clip is part of Diffuser.fm’s #NextUp series of emerging artists, and the Brooklyn-based indie-pop outfit proved they’re every bit deserving of all the buzz.

Donning matching blonde bobs and yellow frocks, Wolfe and Laessig are equally synchronized on the vocal front, making for a mesmerizing performance -- they even demonstrate the keen ability to kill it on the wood block. The dreamy sound is made complete with the help of their bandmates Dan Molad, Peter Lalish and Andrew Burri.

‘Nothing Ordinary’ can be heard on Lucius’ inspired debut, ‘Wildewoman,’ which is dripping in ‘60s inspiration and the kind of fervor demonstrated in our exclusive video performance.
