M.I.A.'s follow-up to 2010's 'Maya' isn't arriving this month after all, but all is not lost. After constant bombardment from fans hoping to hear new music from the singer, M.I.A. herself emailed some lucky fans a new tune titled 'atTENTion,' a three-minute-plus jam that mashes together thick layers of looped percussion, spoken samples, auto-tuned vocals and dubstep bass. And now that that song has been leaked to the rest of the world, you can listen to it in its entirety below.

It's not yet known whether 'atTENTion' will turn up on M.I.A.'s fourth disc, 'Matangi,' which is due sometime in 2013. She's described its sound as "Paul Simon on acid" -- we're not quite sure what that means, but it certainly piques our interest.
