M.I.A. is the latest artist to join Jay-Z's Roc Nation. The 'Paper Planes' rapper will now be represented by the them for all her music business transactions.

Pitchfork points out that Roc Nation tweeted a photo of M.I.A.'s official artists page on their website with the words "the nation just keeps growing," which was, naturally, Instagrammed. She joins an impressive lineup, including pop megastar RihannaSantigold, Wale, Shakira, Jay Electronica and more.

Ri Ri retweeted Roc Nation's Twitter announcement saying, "Welcome home MIA."

M.I.A. will continue to be an Interscope recording artist, as publishing and distribution rights are reportedly not part of her deal with Jay-Z's management company. M.I.A., whose real name is Mathangi Arulpragasam, also runs her own label under the Interscope umbrella called N.E.E.T. Recordings. However, it doesn't seem like much is going on with her imprint these days. The N.E.E.T. website no longer exists, and one of their most well-known artists, Sleigh Bells, released their last album, 'Reign of Terror,' through Mom + Pop Records.

M.I.A. is currently in the studio to work on her new album, tentatively titled 'Matangi.' She released a teaser video of new material last month and composed the theme song for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange’s TV show ‘The World Tomorrow.’
