Mac DeMarco’s New Mini-Album Invites You to His House For a Cup of Coffee

Mac DeMarco is due to release an eight-track mini-album on Aug. 7 titled Another One, and in support, he has already shared the title track as well as three other gems including "No Other Heart", "The Way You'd Love Her", and "I've Been Waiting For Her." One song that he hasn't publicly shared yet is the album's closer, "My House by the Water", which surprisingly provides listeners with DeMarco's actual home address in Far Rockaway, N.Y., for you to come over and have a cup of coffee with him.

In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, DeMarco explained how it is indeed one of his actual home addresses, and in fact, 30 people have already come by. Speaking to WSJ, he said, "The way I rationalize it, to have the address you’ll have to listen to the album to the very end ... Second, to even consider coming to my house you have to be a kind of a superfan. And thirdly, it’s in such a weird part of New York that if they actually get there, they deserve a cup of coffee."
