Something exciting happened while you were sleeping.

The Atlanta-based indie rock five-piece, Manchester Orchestra, released a brand-new LP at the stroke of midnight today (Sept. 16). Well, it's brand-new and it isn't brand-new. Fans will recognize the song titles, but the tracks themselves are part of their newly reinvigorated journey.

Just a few months ago, Manchester Orchestra unleashed their fourth studio album, the ferociously heavy 'Cope.' Reimagining the same songs from that disc, the quintet set out to strip their vision down to its bare bones, and thus they created 'Hope,' a record with a renewed objective in place.

"We were noticing that all the beautiful, slow stuff was working with all the really loud and fast stuff," frontman Andy Hull said about the inspiration for 'Hope.' "The seed was planted to go back and create a full circle of an album." That full circle finds Manchester Orchestra's sound beautifully focused on Hull's vocals, supported by little more than acoustic guitars and piano.

To coincide with the new LP, Manchester Orchestra have announced a string of intimate U.S. tour dates with Chris Staples as support, kicking off on Halloween in Memphis. Get the full schedule below.

Fans who pick up tickets to see Manchester Orchestra on this tour will instantly receive a digital copy of 'Hope.' If the band isn't coming through your hometown, don't worry, it's available right now via iTunes. And for those who prefer tangible products, the CD and vinyl editions of 'Hope' will hit store shelves on Nov. 18.
