Marnie Stern, ‘Immortals’ – New Video

Marnie Stern has unleashed a brand-new video for her tune ‘Immortals,’ and the clip provides a glimpse into her life in New York’s Upper East Side, as well as a look into her glamorous world of fantasy.

According to director Allie Avital Tsypin, the guitar-shredding singer sought to juxtapose the reality of being an independent artist with the ideal rock star vision.

“I was really moved by her honesty, openness and self-deprecating wit," Tsypin said of the candid conversation the two had in Stern’s NYC apartment. "It felt imperative to present Marnie as a human being, and shooting in her home helped."

‘Immortals’ appears on Stern's third studio effort, ‘The Chronicles of Marnia,’ which dropped on March 19 via Kill Rock Stars. In other recent news, she delivered a stellar performance at SXSW 2013 earlier this month, and you can watch the live footage here.
