Matt and Kim have an extensive history making innovative and quirky videos (remember that time they walked naked through Times Square?), but they're looking for a little help to create the official clip for the new song, "Can You Blame Me."

The Brooklyn indie-dance duo have posted two videos featuring close-ups of singer-keyboardist Matt Johnson (here's his video) and drummer Kim Schifino (here's Kim's) and the idea is for fans with tablets to record video of themselves using the pre-existing templates. Johnson explains the concept and demonstrates what the pair are looking for in another video (which you can watch below).

Fans are asked to send their homemade videos through the band's Twitter or Facebook and Matt and Kim will choose their favorites to edit together for the official "Can You Blame Me" video. There are tips on how to make your video here.

"Can You Blame" me comes from their upcoming album, New Glow, set for release April 7.
