Psycho Las Vegas, the hard rock and metal festival that debuted in Sin City this past summer, has revealed part of its lineup for its second year. The list includes Melvins, Neurosis and Murder City Devils.

They announced the bands by posting the above photo to their Facebook page, with Mulatu Astatke, Swans, Carcass, Chelsea Wolfe and Magma among the bigger names that will appear, and more names are expected to be announced at a later date. The two constant members of Melvins, Buzz Osbourne and Dale Crover, will be pulling double duty. Their side project, Crystal Fairy, is also listed on the bill. The group, which includes Omar Rodriguez-Lopez of At the Drive-In and Teri Gender Bender of Le Butcherettes, will release their self-titled debut album on Feb. 24. So far they’ve released two songs, “Drugs on the Bus” and “Chiseler.”

Psycho Las Vegas will take place Aug. 18-20 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The hotel is offering a special room rate for that weekend for customers using the code “psych17” at the time of booking. Tickets for the festival range from $249-499 and include access to The Joint, Paradise Pool and Vinyl stages. You can get full information at Psycho Las Vegas’ website and Eventbrite.

The first Psycho Las Vegas featured sets from metal legends Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult, but Diffuser’s reporter on the scene was also blown away by such names as Midnight, Black Mountain, the Budos Band and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. You can see the full recap here.
