Up-and-coming Toronto-based post-hardcore trio Metz are following up their critically lauded eponymous debut album, which dropped in October, with a digital single that's due out Dec. 4. 'Dirty Shirt' and its B-side, 'Leave Me Out,' were previously available in limited numbers as a 7-inch single, and 'Dirty Shirt' is now available for streaming (listen below).

'Dirty Shirt' continues right where 'METZ' left off, with an aggressive sound that nods heavily in the direction of bands like Jesus Lizard, Nation of Ulysses and the hard-hitting side of Unwound. METZ have one last 2012 show on their calendar (Dec. 19 in Brooklyn, N.Y.) and recently mapped out a lengthy 2013 European tour that kicks off Jan. 25 in Athens, Greece.
