Midnight Magic, ‘Diamonds’ – Free MP3 Download

Midnight Magic are a nine-piece juggernaut from New York City that count among their ranks former members of LCD Soundsystem. They make what we might call interstellar soul music -- a sound they describe as a blend of funk, soul and electro-tinged disco. Today, we get a free download of 'Diamonds,' from their forthcoming full-length debut, 'Walking The Midnight Streets,' due out Nov. 13.

Although they've yet to release a record, Midnight Magic have already played with celebrated electro outfits like Holy Ghost, Cut Copy and Escort. Of the sultry disco strutter 'Diamonds,' W. Andrew Raposo tells Diffuser.fm, "'Diamonds' is the song that comes on at the interstellar tiki-bar as the dual suns set into electric-purple waters and at the precise moment you lock eyes with the most beautiful humanoid creature you've ever seen."
