Things Go Awry When Mikal Cronin Overbooks His ‘Say’ Music Video

Shortly after the release of his third album, MCIII -- which you can grab here -- Mikal Cronin debuted a music video for “Turn Around,” starring a gaggle of comedians recreating Natalie Imbruglia’s 1997 “Torn” video. Now, Cronin has debuted a clip for “Say,” and it depicts an equally absurd premise.

Cronin seemingly overbooked the role of “guy in white blazer and black shirt” for his latest music video, leading to a skirmish between actors Nick Thune, Jonah Ray and more. Though the garage rocker appears rather mild-mannered throughout, he eventually reaches the end of his rope and the situation unravels in gruesome fashion. See for yourself in the video above.

Earlier this month, the sometime Ty Segall collaborator announced a string of tour dates in support of his latest full-length. The North American leg of the tour kicks off with a two-night run in Chicago on June 20 and 21. Along the way, he’ll play a concert at L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl with Death Cab for Cutie as well as a handful of shows with Father John Misty between September and October. The run of dates then culminates in L.A. on Oct. 17; check out the complete list of stops below.

Cronin’s third solo album follows his 2011 self-titled debut and the 2013 follow-up, MCII.
