Moleskine Launches Limited-Edition Blue Note Records Notebook Collection

Moleskine has launched a limited-edition collection of notebooks in honor of Blue Note Records’ 75th anniversary. Watch the Bastien Dubois-directed promo up above, which includes original music composed by Jean Baptiste Berger, Philippe Billoin, Marcel Ebbers and Mathias Neiss.

The notebook collection will celebrate the iconic label -- which spearheaded avant-garde and free-style jazz of the ‘50s and ‘60s -- with a series of five designs featuring Dexter Gordon, Art Blakey, Thelonious Monk, Freddie Hubbard and Kenny Burrell.

The designs reflect the artwork seen on Blue Note’s classic album covers and posters. The notebooks will also boast photographs on the inside cover, music reviews and a detailed history of the record label. Take a look at the Dexter Gordon edition below:

Moleskine’s Dexter Gordon notebook is available as of today (July 28) at the notebook maker’s online store. The other four designs will be available for purchase on Sept. 3.
