Now that all the court room drama with NME is behind him, Morrissey has announced a two-month long U.S. tour to launch in fall 2012.

The former Smiths singer will roll out on October 5 at the Wang Theatre in Boston, Mass. and continue through New York City; Columbus, Ohio; Chicago, Ill.; Atlanta, Ga. and more. The trek will end on December 8 at the Showboat Resort and Casino House of Blues in Atlantic City, N.J. He'll join Iggy and the Stooges on November 24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. See all the dates below.

One city that makes us raise an eyebrow is Morrissey's October 26 date in Flint, Mich. Moz usually includes a venue in the metro Detroit area every time he tours, but surprisingly picked the most violent city in the U.S. as his only Michigan date.

Morrissey had originally planned to take British music magazine NME to court after he accused them of wrongfully portraying him as a racist. “The gates of England are flooded," he said in a 2007 interview. "The country’s been thrown away … Although I don’t have anything against people from other countries, the higher the influx into England the more the British identity disappears.”

The two parties finally settled their differences, and NME published an apology to Morrissey. The court dates were scheduled to take place July 16-19.
