Morrissey's ongoing health woes have led to two more show cancellations. The former Smiths frontman had planned to resume his tour on Feb. 9 in Las Vegas, but following his recent hospitalization for what he revealed to be a trio of ailments -- "a concussion, a bleeding ulcer, and Barrett’s esophagus" -- he's scrapped both that gig and the following night's in Phoenix.

In a statement on True-to-You.net, Moz cites "doctor's orders" for the sudden change of plans, and he promises to announce rescheduled dates in the next few days. The North American trek is now slated to pick back up in El Paso, Texas, on Feb. 12.

Ironically enough, the news came as Morrissey's former Smiths bandmate Johnny Marr announced an 18-date North American tour. One ex-Smith books shows, another one scraps 'em and the world maintains its delicate balance.
