Sweet dreams are made of this: Mumford and Sons covering the Eurythmics with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus.

During their ongoing tour in support of their latest album, Wilder Mind, Mumford and Sons have been rolling out a cover of the Eurythmics classic, “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” At their concert in Inglewood, Calif., last night (Aug. 18), however, the English rockers added a special guest into the mix: Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus. It was a packed stage that also included Jack Garratt and the Vaccines, who have been touring with the Marcus Mumford-fronted outfit. Mumford and Sons’ tour continues on Aug. 22 with an appearance at their own Gentlemen of the Road Stopover in Salida, Colo. From there, they have a handful of dates scheduled in the U.K. and Australia. Check out a complete list of stops over at their website.

Hoppus meanwhile just revealed that Blink-182 will soon head back into the studio to record a new album with Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba filling in for former guitarist-singer Tom DeLonge.
