Music Community Reacts to the Death of Producer Rick Parashar
The music community is still reeling from the loss of critically-acclaimed producer and musician Rick Parashar. Parashar is best known for producing the legendary Pearl Jam album ‘Ten’ (it remains the band’s most successful record of their career). Parashar died of natural causes in his home in Seattle at age 50.
It’s no surprise that the members of the music community have publicly shared their condolences and memories of Parashar. Working with the likes of Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr. and My Goodness all the way to bands like Nickelback and Flyleaf, Parashar’s skills and talents were heard by many a music fan — and respected by all.
