Nada Surf Unveil New ‘Waiting for Something’ Video, 2012 Tour Dates

Nada Surf have been wonderfully busy this year, and their current plans show no break in this pattern. Right now, the band is gearing up for its upcoming tour with the debut of a brand-new video for ‘Waiting for Something.’

‘Waiting for Something’ is a track off of their January release, ‘The Stars are Indifferent to Astronomy.’ The video is set exclusively outdoors in several different areas of the Spanish island Ibiza and was directed by Violetta D’Agata, a native of the island. The breathtaking physical location accompanies the existential journey captured through emotionally-charged scenes starring characters from all walks of life.

Their tour starts next week in Lancaster, Pa. and will conclude in Bochum, Germany on Nov. 17. The stateside leg of the tour will feature opening act Waters, a San Francisco-based band that toured with Nada Surf earlier in the year.
