Neon Indian (a.k.a. synth-pop artist Alan Palomo) has announced he will return with his first new album since 2011’s Era Extraña. Palomo will release VEGA INTL. Night School on Oct. 16 via Mom + Pop. Ahead of that day, you can stream the forthcoming LP’s lead single, “Slumlord,” below:

Earlier this year, Poloma shared the one-off single, “Annie,” which will also appear on VEGA INTL. and can be heard right here. Check out the album’s complete tracklist and artwork at the bottom of the page.

“Most of what I’ve learned about human nature in my twenties has happened after dark,” Palomo said, addressing the new album’s title in a press release. “People are just kind of more honest then. More deliberate. I like to call the places I go to Night Schools.”

Poloma will embark on a North American tour that kicks off later this month on Aug. 21 in Mexico City. He then has stops scheduled through November, including appearances at FYF Fest in L.A. and Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin. Check out the complete itinerary below.
