Apparently the muses have resumed speaking to David Bowie, because he's got another album coming out.

The man formerly known as Ziggy Stardust took a break from music for about a decade or so before surprising everyone with 'The Next Day' last year. Now, Tony Visconti, who produced and played on 'The Next Day,' confirmed in an interview with CNN that fans will get another album before it's all said and done.

"There's gonna be another album, definitely ... soon," Visconti said, though he didn't describe how long "soon" will be in this case.

Bowie also has a greatest hits collection coming out in time for Christmas, which will include a new song called 'Sue (Or in a Season of Crime).'

Bowie did drop some hints earlier this year, so this album won't be quite the surprise that 'The Next Day' was. While you ponder this information, listen to 'The Stars Are Out Tonight,' from his last album -- just in case you're worried the old man's lost his touch:
