New Music Releases – July 2015
With the release of Florence and the Machine’s How Big How Blue How Beautiful, Neil Young’s The Monsanto Years and Desparecidos’ long-awaited sophomore effort, Payola, last month, summer 2015 is already off to a great start in terms of new music.
July promises to maintain that trajectory with the Chemical Brothers’ first new album in five years, Born in the Echoes, arriving on July 17, along with Jason Isbell’s Something More Than Free and Tame Impala’s Currents. Likewise, Iron and Wine’s Sam Beam and Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell have teamed up on Sing Into My Mouth -- a collaborative album of covers -- which will land that very same day.
