It's finally time to list the new music releases of June 2013, and that means one thing and one thing only: Summer is nigh! June's crop of new albums includes many that are bound to sound great blaring from your jeep as you cruise to the beach with a backseat full of friends, as well as some records better suited for chilly nights and quiet moments at home. Some, like the new one from Icelandic curious Sigur Ros, fall into neither category, and hey, that's cool, too.

Indeed, the list of June 2013 new music releases has it all -- smarty-pants piano pop, compliments of Ben Folds; the emo-tinged power-pop of Jimmy Eat World; the Clash-y rap-reggae-punk mish-mash of the Transplants; the winning indie-pop of Smith Westerns and Surfer Blood; and the awesome garage power of Weekend and Bass Drum of Death.

But there's more to the June 2013 new music releases calendar than those aforementioned offerings. Scroll down, check 'em all out and start dreaming of all the fresh jams poised to soundtrack your summer. Over the next three months, you're probably gonna find love, lose love and suffer a sunburn or two, but come what may, these new albums will soothe your soul like aloe does your skin.
