New Music Releases – March 2015
As we look ahead to March, we’re crossing our fingers for less frigid weather, but there’s no guarantee mother nature will be so kind. One thing we are guaranteed? A month packed with exciting album releases from some of our favorite artists.
Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher will set a high bar for the month, dropping his sophomore album, Chasing Yesterday, with the High Flying Birds, but the rest of the month lives up to those high standards and then some. Of Montreal, Will Butler, Courtney Barnett, Laura Marling and Death Cab for Cutie are all slated for new releases throughout March. Shoegaze greats Swervedriver will even drop their first album in more than 15 years on March 3, while Modest Mouse will return with their first LP in eight years.
