Where would we be now without the punk outfit Rancid? Scores of kids with guitars who can't sing would believe they can't front bands. We'd never have spent hours trying to get the chorus for 'Ruby Soho' out of our heads. And most likely, punk rock music in general would be a little less cool.

So it is with much rejoicing that we listen to not one, not two, but three new Rancid songs. They come to us all squeezed together into one six-and-a-half-minute-long video featuring the gutter-mouthed fellows performing the songs in someone's basement -- or something. Check it out above.

The first song, 'Collision Course,' is probably the most fun of the three tracks, with a short but infectious chorus. The title track, 'Honor Is All We Know,' is inexplicably full of guitar solos, but it's perfect for rowdy, drunken sing-a-longs. And no Rancid collection would be complete without a ska-influenced tune about committing bad deeds. That slot is filled by the third track, 'Evil's My Friend.'

Rancid's first album in six years, 'Honor Is All We Know,' comes out Oct. 27, just in time to be the soundtrack for some Halloween hooliganism. You can pre-order it at Rancid's website or at iTunes.
