Nine Inch Nails debuted a brand new song called “Ahead of Ourselves” during their three-night run at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, which kicked off their Cold and Infinite and Black tour.

You can watch a minute-long clip from the final show on June 16 below, along with the band's cover of Joy Division’s “Digital” and a guest appearance by Gary Numan, who performed his track “Metal” with NIN.

You can watch the videos below.

“Ahead of Ourselves” is expected to appear on Nine Inch Nail's upcoming album Bad Witch, which arrives on June 22 and marks the completion of a trilogy that started with 2016’s Not the Actual Events and continued with last year’s Add Violence.

Explaining the delay in a press release, frontman Trent Reznor said as they were finishing Add Violence, "It felt too predictable. It felt like we were forcing things. Musically and storytelling-wise. The reason this has been delayed is because it took us a while for -- what has become the third EP -- to reveal itself to us.”

Reznor later took time on social media to explain why the six-track Bad Witch is considered an album rather than an EP, as the previous two releases had been. “EPs show up with singles in Spotify and other streaming services = they get lost easier,” he noted. “EPs feel less important in today’s music-isn’t-as-important-as-it-once-was world. Why make it easier to ignore?”
