It's taken a little longer than fans would have liked -- and longer than the band thought it would -- but No Doubt are finally in the home stretch for their upcoming sixth album, due Sept. 25, and you can get an early sneak peek at what's been going on in the studio courtesy of a new webisode that even offers a hint of new music.

The clip kicks off with some interview segments, including one with bassist Tony Kanal, who discusses the steps that led to the band working with the production team Major Lazer. Recalling a phone conversation with label head Jimmy Iovine, Kanal said Iovine told them, "'You should meet these guys. They really want to work with No Doubt.’ We had heard of Major Lazer and we had heard of Diplo and Switch. I reached out to them and said, ‘Do you have anything or do you want to work on something together?’ We all got in the studio together and worked on this track."

The track in question, titled 'Push and Shove,' makes a brief appearance later in the video, when singer Gwen Stefani is shown tracking vocals. You can hear Stefani sing the lines "You push and shove / I take the bait / It’s a risky business, gonna play it anyway" while drummer Adrian Young works against the song's reggae groove. Check it out below, and let us know what you think. Are you excited for a new album from No Doubt?
