Exclusive Premiere: NYVES, ‘Just Give Up’

On June 23, NYVES -- featuring Ryan Clark of Demon Hunter and Randy Torres, formerly of Project 86 -- will celebrate the release of their debut full-length album, Anxiety, via Spartan Records. Today (June 19), Diffuser is ecstatic to give fans a taste of what to expect with the brand-new track, “Just Give Up” -- take it for a spin in the audio player below.

NYVES is a clear musical reinvention for Clark and Torres, but it’s come at their own pace. “When the chance to do something completely different presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity,” Clark recently said. “I can channel my inspirations into something new, and it fulfills a different side of my creativity.”

“‘Just Give Up’ explores the universal feeling of helplessness -- the weight of life’s questions that can be overwhelming for us all,” Clark explains about the new song. “This weight can often feel like too much to handle, but there’s freedom in knowing that not everything needs to be fully understood. Sometimes we need to loosen our grip on trying to have it all figured out.”
