Earlier this week, indie rock group Oberhofer announced their sophomore album, Chronovision, and they recently clarified that it will be released on August 21 via Glassnote. Check out the album art below.

The track list is not yet available, but it was also revealed that there will be 12 tracks. The band premiered "Memory Remains" earlier this week, which you can listen to below. The song shares a lot of the frenetic, surfy qualities of Time Capsules II – Oberhofer's Steve Lillywhite-produced full-length debut released in 2012.

According to Stereogum, frontman Brad Oberhofer "recorded 106 demos and traveled to the four corners of the continental United States in pursuit of Chronovision," and that his "stops along the way ranged from NYC’s famed Electric Lady Studios to what remains of L.A.’s storied Sound City, from tracking in a humble Tacoma home studio to laying on a pristine finish with Ben Allen in Atlanta."
