Of Montreal Debut New Song and Announce Tour

Of Montreal are gearing up for a busy 2015. A new album, 'Aureate Gloom,' is due to hit the streets on March 3 via Polyvinyl, and the band has just given fans a preview with the new song, 'Empyrean Abattoir.' The vibrant song, bursting with kinetic energy, is the second single to precede the new record, and can be heard above.

"Very excited to share a new song with you all today [Jan. 7],' the band wrote on their website. "We also just announced a bunch of tour dates with Yonatan Gat, Deerhoof and Yip Deceiver after the January run w/ Nedelle Torrisi." The new album will be released on CD, LP, MP3 and tape.

That tour will take the band across the United States for the first part of 2015. Things kick off January 13 in Florida wind up in Louisiana in early April.
