Of Monteral Unveil 'She Ain't Speakin' Now' Video

Of Montreal aren't strangers to bright colors, visual experimentation or narratives in their music videos. However, in their latest visual for 'She Ain't Speakin' Now,' the band adds a psychedelic factor that will either draw you in or give you a headache.

Directed by Nina Barnes, frontman Kevin Barnes' wife, the video starts with a series of images that aren't very clear and hint at some sort of chaotic commotion, which later turns into the ups and downs of a relationship.

Many of the images repeat themselves -- like one of the couple coming in close to each other but then one pushes the other away. There is also footage that looks like home movies from the '90s and filmed with those old clunky box video cameras that were just too bulky to carry around without being noticed. The images are also superimposed onto one another, which causes the collage of images that is this video.

'She Ain't Speakin' Now' is the latest release from Of Montreal's most recent album, 'Lousy With Sylvianbriar,' which released last October.

The band is currently on their North American tour, which will go into the end of the spring.
