Fifty years after the original Woodstock, modern festival-lovers might get the chance to partake in three more days of peace and music.

Original Woodstock producer Michael Lang told the Poughkeepsie Journal he hopes to organize a festival celebrating the iconic concert’s 50th anniversary. “[Woodstock] is the original and most famous festival brand,” Lang said. “With the prevalence of festivals out there, and all the excitement about them, maybe it’s time for that.”

Lang is reportedly in talks with partners and venues. He’s also considering a dual event, one taking place in the U.S. and another somewhere overseas. He also alluded to more Woodstocks beyond the 50th anniversary. Lang previously attempted to organize a 40th anniversary festival in 2009, but the plans ultimately fell through.

Of course, a 2019 Woodstock wouldn’t be the first reincarnation of the three-day concert. The festival’s 25th and 30th anniversaries were marked with Woodstock ’94 and ’99, the latter of which was fraught with violence, sexual assault, theft and vandalism.
