Once the solo project of singer, songwriter and guitarist Ellen Kempner, Palehound is now a fearsome foursome, and next month, they make their full-band debut with the 'Kitchen 7".'

Today, the quartet offers a preview in the form of 'Holiest,' a tuneful bit of grungy indie rock that finds Kempner in a state of mild agitation, "stomping on senses and corduroy blues."

Palehound cut 'Kitchen,' the follow-up to last year's 'Bent Nails EP,' at Gravesend Recordings in Brooklyn, and as Kempner tells it, the sessions amounted to a "really rewarding, hilarious, and simultaneously trying experience which allowed us to really solidify our status as a set four-piece and true pals."

Look for the 'Kitchen 7"' on Feb. 25 via Exploding In Sound Records.
