Palma Violets Documentary Captures British Band’s First U.S. Concert

A four-minute mini-film documenting young hip British things Palma Violets' recent debut U.S. concert at the tiny club Shea Stadium in Brooklyn, N.Y., as well as five other gigs in the city, has premiered online -- watch it above. The clip, which was shot in January and features footage of the band wandering around NYC, is highlighted by a live performance of their first single, 'Best of Friends,' which was voted NME's Song of the Year for 2012.

Palma Violets, not surprisingly, will be in Austin for SXSW next week, followed by a return trip to the States in April for this year's Coachella festival. Check out their full itinerary here. Their debut album, '180,' drops March 19.
