Parquet Courts – ‘Smart Aleck Kid’ [Listen]

Parquet Courts dropped their full-length debut album, 'Light Up Gold,' last year, and now the Texas-via-Brooklyn rockers are issuing one of the disc's tracks, 'Borrowed Time,' as a 7-inch vinyl single. The record is due March 18 (you can pre-order it here), and the flip side will feature two previously unreleased tracks, one of which, 'Smart Aleck Kid,' you can stream in full below.

We've heard these pot-obsessed stoner punkers compared to everyone from R.E.M. and Pavement to Sonic Youth and the Strokes, and while we're not going to argue with any of those touchstones, we would like ... wait, what were we talking about again?
