Watch the New Parquet Courts Video for ‘Bodies Made Of’

Parquet Courts have eschewed lip-syncing and choreographed dances -- and cats lying on couches -- for their new music video. Instead, the band's latest effort features the guys playing their song, 'Bodies Made Of,' at their epic 'Sunbathing Animals' release party at the Sugarhill Supper Club in Brooklyn back in June. Watch the new video above.

The footage was captured by Iain Forsythe and Jane Pollard, who directed the recent Nick Cave movie, '20,000 Days on Earth.' The video consists of the band playing in front of a small but packed room full of sweaty people nodding their heads in agreement with the music and partaking in the classic ritual known as crowd surfing.

Parquet Courts also just announced the formation of a new supergroup. Bandmembers Andrew Savage and Austin Brown are teaming up with PC Worship's Justin Frye, along with other members of PC Worship, to form PCPC. They'll be touring soon, opening for Thurston Moore in the U.S. in October and in Europe in November. The full tour dates are below.
