After much anticipation, Passion Pit recently shared the release date for their upcoming studio album Kindred, along with its lead single "Lifted Up (1985)." At the time of the announcement, the band promised to release another track, "Where the Sky Hangs," and they remained true to their word. You can listen to the synthy dance-inspired tune below.

Kindred serves as the Michael Angelakos-fronted band's first album since 2012's Gossamer. The 10-track disc is due out April 21 via Columbia Records and when you pre-order the album, you'll get a copy of both tracks they've premiered thus far. Digital pre-orders are currently available via iTunes.

The album's cover art shows a child looking away from a family dinner, unenthused; you can check out the image, as well as the full track list, here.  Although Angelakos had been releasing a few demos and samples under the moniker Eastern Shift for awhile, it appears that his main gig is back in full effect, at least for now.
